About Kozy Creation
Founder
Hello! My name is Anali Osorio, I am a proud 25-year-old Colombian woman living in the Pacific Northwest, USA. I started knitting as a hobby in the spring of 2021 and gradually found myself drawn to the art of crochet. I am inspired by the beautiful patterns that are created through the intricate weaving and knotting of yarns. I have also become inspired by the incredible beadwork done by various indigenous groups from Colombia, and aim to proudly represent my homeland through my designs.
One of my many passions outside of handmade art is the study of food systems and the complexities involved in community interactions. My story is similar to yours in that it is still unfolding! I am happy to meet you and thank you for being a part of my crochet and jewelry journey.
The roots of my creativity
Inspired by my Colombian roots, I aim to blend traditional indigenous colors and patterns with various textures of nature. My crochet and beadwork are inspired by the vibrant hues from the Andean mountains to lush forests all the way to the sea. One of my goals is to blend cultural richness with natural beauty in each unique piece.
Crochet is an art form that can not be replicated on a machine making each piece undoubtedly one of a kind. Crochet is also a versatile art form that allows for the creation of intricate designs and rich textures through soft materials. The transformation of simple yarn into beautiful, functional pieces, balancing tradition and innovation in every piece is one of my biggest inspirations.

Let me be the first to welcome you to the Kozy Creation Community where crafting meets community! This community will aim to be a constant celebration of various art forms where seasoned crafters and those just starting can connect.
I hope to create a virtual time and space called Craft & Connect that will allow fellow members of the Kozy Creation Community to share projects, learn new skills, and chat with friendly crafters from around the globe.
To be a member of the Kozy Creation Community, no spending is necessary, with the exception of a little time! This space will always be available when it is convenient for you to connect with fellow crafters!
